Diversify Whitewater Completes the 2025 Kayak Progression Program

Diversify Whitewater was co-founded in 2020 by Lily Durkee and Antoinette Lee Toscano as a nonprofit with a mission to expand access to kayaking, rafting, and paddlesports among Black, Indigenous, and People of Color and other underserved communities.  Kayak Progression Program, spearheaded by Kallie Kurtz in 2024, provides a comprehensive, immersive experience that gives participants the skills, confidence, and community needed to continue kayaking long-term.
