Drywear
We inspect the gaskets, zippers, overall health of the garment and let you know if there's anything we think needs attention before it can be tested. Before doing any testing the garment is washed using a cleaner made specifically for waterproof/breathable fabric and treated with an enzyme solution to neutralize odor and stop mildew. After drying we pressurize the garment and mark any leaks. Patching is charged at the rates outlined below. Once we've finished patching dry suits all waterproof zippers will be lubricated. We recommend having a dry suit pressure tested and patched once a year.
If the results of the pressure test determine that the suit is beyond repair, customers are still responsible for the costs of the test.
We repair any visible tears or leaks we marked in a pressure test using the same waterproof/breathable seam tape we use to build IR drywear. Exterior patches are made using the same neoprene seam tape IR skirts are built with.
